A Little Lakeside Love
After two years of visiting ENT’s, Neurologists and having endured a battery of testing I was finally diagnosed with SSCD short for Superior semicircular canal dehiscence. My body is in constant flight or fight mode and it’s exhausting to live like this on a daily basis. Fortunately, there is support in the Okanagan for those of us who have to live with debilitating dizziness. Clarice Bower and Nichole Sorensen have formed a group to inform patients and our families on different therapies and strategies to make us live a more active and fulfilling life. I call this the invisible medical problem, we look fine on the outside but on the inside, we daily feel the panic of not knowing when and what is going to trigger an episode of dizziness. Both Clarice Bower and Nichole Sorensen are fantastic at educating patients on tools and strategies for dealing with our debilitating symptoms.I am extremely grateful for the support and education I have received from this group as it assists me daily in leading as close to normal life as possible.
Lakeside Hearing was amazing! Had some hearing aids that I purchased from a place in Penticton and they couldn’t provide me with the level of service I needed. From the first email to lakeside I could see their professionalism and dedication. I booked an appt with Bailey to get new hearing aids and she was AWESOME. I’ve been wearing hearing aids for 30 years and I haven’t met anyone who would give me the level of service I needed until I came here. She gave me a pair of demo hearing aids to try while we waited for the new ones to come in. After visiting Lakeside, they’ve vastly improved my quality of life and I’ve been hearing sounds I couldn’t hear before. Thank you Bailey and team for everything you’ve done!
My husband Andy Popoff had been suffering with extreme Tinnitus for many years and after his appointment with Claire Beldi , and getting fitted with hearing aids, which are equipped with the newest technologies, has improved the quality of his life!!!. Watching TV is much clearer at a reasonable volume and eliminates his focus on the Tinnitus. He is so pleased and thankful for Claire Beldi and her professionalism. I highly recommend this clinic.
Excellent care and attention. I suffer from tinnitus which was getting worse under the stress of Covid 19. Nichole is thoroughly professional and took the time to explain the options. My tinnitus has improved. I would wholeheartedly recommend Lakeside Hearing.
It was a school recommendation that my 9 year old son get his hearing tested and we had a few friends suggest we go to Lakeside Hearing. The office was welcoming, bright and the staff extremely friendly! Claire was so great with my curious kids – explaining the various posters and instruments in the office and making them feel at ease throughout the entire process. After watching my son have his hearing assessed, my 7 year old daughter, who came along for the visit, was a little disappointed that she wasn’t getting her hearing checked too! It was an all around positive experience!
Nichole and her wonderful staff of ladies are simply Superb in their professionalism and personal care for the needs I have with hearing . It is difficult to hear my customers without their help and skilled approach to balance my ears out ! What a difference ! Even with the masks muffling my customers words I can now adjust up and “Bob’s your Uncle”. Just knocked the stress I had been experiencing right OUT. Thank you Nichole and Ladies of Lakeside in Lake Country!
I enjoyed top notch service from the time of initial contact, throughout the examination process, and in follow-up through provision of an informative email message. The Audiologist, Ms. Sinclair exercised kind patience and understanding in gathering my background information and concerns. She conducted a thorough tinnitus and hearing examination, and took time to educate me further about tinnitus and hearing loss. Excellent service from a caring group of professionals. Thank you 🙂
I visited the clinic May 6, 2022 for an exam and recommendation for my tinnitus. Claire Beldi, my audiologist, conducted a series of tests before making any recommendations. She was thorough and competent. She determined that my hearing was good and my tinnitus condition would not be improved with any aids. There was no hard sell. Integrity is the single word I would use to describe my visit.
I can’t recommend Nicole and Erica enough. Not only are they helping me with my vertigo issues but they are both so thoughtful, caring and informative. Whenever I leave Lakeside I always feel hopeful.
My husband, Lyman, had a very positive experience at Lakeside Hearing. Bailey Sinclair was very thorough in conducting the hearing test and she was very knowledgeable in the follow-up particularly in relation to the functioning of the Widex App. At all times, Bailey was very courteous and professional and she has a great friendly attitude.
After moving to Kelowna, I decided to replace my hearing aids. I am so happy I found Lakeside Hearing. It was important to me to find an independent audiologist who could give me brand-unbiased advice. Nichole is intelligent and professional, and she listened to my needs and lifestyle requirements before recommending that I change brands. I was blown away by the improvement within the first hours of my trial. Highly recommend her.
